All-Around Inflatable Paddle Boards — One Board, Endless Possibilities

Can't decide between a touring board and a yoga board? An all-around inflatable paddleboard is the answer. These versatile SUP boards handle calm lakes, rivers, light surf, fitness paddling, and casual cruising with equal confidence. They're the most popular choice for Canadian paddlers — and for good reason.

Every all-around board comes with our full kit: carbon fiber paddle, wheeled travel bag, dual-action pump, leash, and 3-year warranty. No hidden costs, no accessories to buy separately.

Who Should Choose an All-Around Board?

  • Beginners — Forgiving stability with enough performance to grow into
  • Families — Bring kids or a dog aboard on wider models
  • Cottage owners — One board that handles any lake condition
  • Anyone who wants just one board — The Swiss army knife of paddleboarding

Frequently Asked Questions

What's the difference between an all-around and a touring paddle board?

All-around boards are wider, shorter, and more stable — great for varied use. Touring boards are longer, narrower, and faster — optimized for distance and tracking. If you're buying your first board, all-around is the way to go.

Can I use an all-around board for SUP yoga?

Yes — especially the wider models (33"+). While dedicated yoga boards offer maximum width, all-around boards work well for basic yoga and stretching on calm water.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What is the difference of Wild Tribe built vs other brands

While most inflatable brands are still cutting corners with basic materials and outdated construction, the Wild Tribe lineup is built on a completely different level — and you'll feel it the moment you step on the board.

Start with what it's made of. Most boards use standard single-layer PVC with a wood grain printed on top. Ours uses Fusion Double-Layer PVC where the wood grain is structurally incorporated into the material — not a cosmetic add-on. The result is a thicker, tougher shell that resists impact, UV degradation, and wear in ways a printed surface simply can't.

Then there's what's inside. Where typical inflatables rely on I-beam dropstitch construction — the same basic weave used in budget boards for years — Wild Tribe uses an X-shaped woven dropstitch core. The cross pattern creates a harder, more rigid board under pressure, with less flex and more power transfer when you paddle.

Speaking of pressure: our welded rail structure handles up to 20 PSI. Glued rails on most boards top out around 15. That extra pressure ceiling is what gives the board its stiffness — and our welded construction holds it reliably, without the delamination risk that comes with glued seams over time.

Profile matters too. At just 4.75 inches thick versus the 6-inch standard across most inflatables, our boards sit lower on the water. Lower center of gravity means better stability, better glide, and a ride that actually feels like paddleboarding — not like balancing on a floating mattress.

The board itself is fully rigged and ready: multiple carry handles, bungee cord storage, and D-rings throughout so you can paddle, haul gear, and adventure without compromise.

Then open the bag. While most brands throw in a flimsy backpack and a bargain-bin aluminum paddle, the 2025 Wild Tribe kit is built to match the board. You get a carbon hybrid adjustable paddle — lighter and stiffer than aluminum, with noticeably better efficiency on every stroke — plus a large, heavy-duty rolling bag that makes getting to the water painless whether you're hiking a trail or navigating an airport. A double-action hand pump means you're inflated in half the time. An ankle leash keeps you connected when it counts.

And the fins. Three removable fins give you the stability and tracking setup most boards charge extra for. The center fin uses a universal fin box system — the same standard adopted worldwide by serious paddlers — which means you're not locked into whatever proprietary fin came in the box. Upgrade, swap, or tune your tracking to match the conditions. Most brands skip this entirely.

This is what inflatable boards look like when you stop compromising.

How do Wild Tribe paddle boards compare to thicker, 6-inch paddle boards in terms of stiffness?

While it's true that a 6" board is typically stiffer than a 4.75" board when built equally, not all paddle boards are created the same. The Wild Tribe paddle boards are meticulously engineered to deliver the closest experience to a hardboard in an inflatable design

Our DualCore™ technology, combined with the advanced RigidFlex™ coating, results in a board that is 60% stiffer than the average paddle board, offering unmatched performance and durability on the water.

How does the new PVC coating contribute to stability?

Our new PVC coating (RigidFlex) makes the boards stiffer, which means they hold their shape better and provide a more stable platform. This added rigidity enhances performance and stability, especially when paddling in rough waters.

Are your boards suitable for beginners?

Yes, our boards are perfect for beginners! They feature enhanced stability, making it easy for you to stand up and enjoy your ride from day one. As you progress, you'll find that they offer the performance you need, so you won’t have to worry about upgrading later. Start your journey with confidence!

Do your boards provide stability for different paddle sports?

Absolutely! Whether you’re paddle boarding, yoga paddling, or even fishing, the stability of our boards supports a wide range of activities. The enhanced buoyancy and stiffness make them versatile and reliable.

How do Wild Tribe boards perform in different water conditions?

Our boards are designed to excel in all water conditions! Whether you're riding on calm lakes, choppy seas, or flowing rivers, you can count on a smooth and stable experience. Additionally, we offer specialized boards tailored for specific conditions, ensuring you have the perfect setup for any adventure. Ride with confidence, no matter where you choose to explore!
